Black Pride Network Membership Agreement

Effective Date: March 22, 2024

This Membership Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between the undersigned member ("Member") and the Black Pride Network ("BPN") for the purpose of establishing terms and conditions governing membership in the Black Pride Network.

1. Membership Eligibility: Membership in the Black Pride Network is open to nonprofits, students, individuals, businesses, and governmental agencies, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, or background.

2. Membership Benefits:

2.1. Access to a supportive network of like-minded individuals committed to social justice and equality.

2.2. Opportunities to participate in community events, workshops, and discussions on topics relevant to the Black experience.

2.3. Resources and tools for personal and professional development.

2.4. Exclusive discounts and offers from partnering organizations and businesses.

2.5. A platform to share stories, experiences, and achievements with a wider audience.

3. Membership Term: The initial term of membership shall commence on the Effective Date and continue until terminated by either party in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

4. Membership Dues: Membership dues shall be as determined by the Board of Directors of the Black Pride Network and may be subject to change from time to time. Members shall be notified of any changes in dues at least thirty (30) days prior to the effective date of such changes.

5. Code of Conduct: Members agree to abide by the Code of Conduct established by the Black Pride Network, which includes but is not limited to:

5.1. Respecting the rights, dignity, and opinions of other members.

5.2. Refraining from engaging in any form of discrimination, harassment, or hate speech.

5.3. Acting in accordance with the mission, values, and goals of the Black Pride Network.

6. Termination of Membership: Membership may be terminated by either party upon written notice to the other party. The Black Pride Network reserves the right to terminate membership for violation of the Code of Conduct or for any other reason deemed appropriate by the Board of Directors.

7. Amendments: This Agreement may be amended by the Black Pride Network at any time and from time to time. Members will be notified of any amendments to this Agreement.

8. Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York.

By accepting these terms, the Member acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Membership Agreement.
